Panic Bar
A panic bar , also known as a crash bar or exit device, is a type of door hardware designed to allow occupants of a building to quickly and easily exit in the event of an emergency. Panic bars are typically installed on doors that serve as emergency exits, such as those in commercial buildings , hospitals, schools, and other public spaces. The design of a panic bar typically consists of a horizontal bar that spans the width of the door and is attached to the latch mechanism.
